A prospective Labour MP was suspended from the party and reported to the police by the party officials on fixing allegations the selection process was removed despite being approved by an internal investigation.
KarieMurphy, who was supported by the Unite union, joined the party, but said it was withdrawing from the race for the seat Falkirk in the name of "reconciliation and unity" . The police investigation was launched in July.
